Privacy and your data

Who sees what, downloading your data, deleting your account or a workplace.

Pay rates and contact details are kept apart from schedules and shown only to the people who need them. Your data is stored in the EU, in Google Cloud in Warsaw. The full details are in the Privacy policy.

When you work for two employers, neither sees anything of the other except that you are busy at a given time.

When a manager asks for AI shift suggestions, the AI (Google Gemini) gets the month only with random codes instead of people: no names, contact details, pay, notes or medical dates.

Download your data

Profile → Download my data prepares a ZIP archive with everything EVoShift holds about you at all your employers: profile (with the photo you uploaded), contact and pay details, shifts with planned and clocked hours, pay, absences, availability and notifications. Colleagues' data is left out.

  • Because the archive includes pay and contact details, you must have signed in within the last 10 minutes. If not, the app asks you to sign out and back in.
  • When it is ready, tap Download. The link works for 24 hours and the file is deleted after 7 days.
  • You can download your data once a day.

Owners and managers can also Export workplace data in the workplace settings: the team, rosters, shifts and working time, absences and availability, plus pay and contact details for those allowed to see them. Keep the file safe and only as long as the law requires.

Delete your account

  1. Open Profile and tap Delete account.
  2. Type DELETE to confirm and tap Delete permanently.

This removes your profile and its photo, contact and pay details, devices, notifications, availability, invitations and exports. Records your employer must keep by law (shifts and working time, pay, leave) stay with them under an anonymous number, without your name; notes on absences are deleted. Download your data first if you want a copy. This cannot be undone.

If you signed in with Apple on an iPhone, deleting your account also withdraws EVoShift's access to your Apple ID. You can check or remove it yourself in your Apple Account settings under Sign in with Apple.

If you still own workplaces, remove them in the workplace settings (or hand them over) first.

Remove a workplace

The owner can permanently delete a workplace in Workplace settings → Remove Workspace. Export its data first: as the employer you must keep employee records, such as working time, for years.

Crash reports and statistics

EVoShift can send two things to Google Firebase, and both are off until you allow them:

  • Crash reports (Android and iOS): what went wrong when the app crashed or hit an error, with the device model and the system and app versions.
  • Usage statistics: which screens and features are used, for example that a roster was published.

Neither ever contains your name, e-mail, pay, amounts or anything you type; they carry only a random account number. They are never used for advertising.

The first time you open the app it asks once, with both boxes unticked: tick what you agree to and tap Allow selected, or tap Not now. You can change it any time in Profile → Crash reports and statistics. Turning a switch off stops sending at once. The choice is saved on each device separately. In the web app only usage statistics are offered.
