EVoShift PLUA

Getting started

Creating your account and business, the first workplace, finding your way around.

This page walks an owner through the first ten minutes: creating an account, setting up the business and the first workplace, and finding your way around the app. If your manager invited you, read Joining a team and then the Employee guide.

Where EVoShift runs

  • Web: open evoshift.app/web in any modern browser.
  • Android and iOS: the apps are in testing and arrive in the stores soon. Your account works the same everywhere, and what you change on one device shows up on the others.

The app follows your device language: Polish on a Polish device, English otherwise.

Create your account

  1. On the sign-in screen tap Create Account, or use Sign in with Apple or Continue with Google.
  2. With email and password, enter your Full Name, Email Address and Password, then tap Sign Up.
  3. Open the verification email and click the link, then go back to the app and tap I have verified my email. No email? Check the spam folder or tap Resend verification email.

Forgot your password? Tap Forgot Password? on the sign-in screen and we email you a reset link.

With Sign in with Apple or Continue with Google the first sign-in creates your account, and there is no verification email: Apple and Google have already checked your address. Use the same button next time. The first time, Apple asks whether to share your name and email. If you choose Hide My Email, EVoShift gets a private Apple relay address (ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com) that forwards to your real inbox, so invitations and roster emails still reach you.

Set up your business

After the first sign-in a short setup guides you step by step:

  1. Welcome, then Your role: choose I run a business.
  2. Your business: the company behind your workplaces, e.g. "Aurora Cafés Ltd". You can rename it later in your profile.
  3. First workplace: the name your team will see, e.g. "Aurora Gdańsk". The market is Poland: Polish labour law and taxes, PLN and Warsaw time.
  4. Opening hours: pick the open days and the opening and closing time. EVoShift prepares your starter shifts from them (a full day, or a morning and an evening shift). You can fine-tune them later.
  5. Sales plan: choose Yes, plan the finances to enter a net sales target for each day of the week, so labour cost can be shown as a share of revenue. Choose No, just the schedule if you only need rosters; you can add the plan later.
  6. Check your workplace: everything prepared for you, each item with a pencil to change it.
  7. Plan: your free trial starts here, without a card. See Plans and billing.
  8. Ready: tap Go to the dashboard.

Opening a workplace means you accept the Terms of use, including the data processing agreement for your team's data.

Your first roster in ten minutes

On the dashboard a card Your first roster in ten minutes walks you through the rest, one step at a time. Each step opens its screen; come back and the card ticks it once the data is there (not just because you looked):

  1. Workplace basics: the address, the positions and how shift swaps work.
  2. Shift templates: one tap adds the usual shifts (Morning 7–15, Afternoon 15–23, Middle 10–18); change their names, times or position afterwards.
  3. Weekly template: which shifts each day of the week needs.
  4. Your team: invite people to the app, or add those who will work without it.
  5. First roster: create a month from the weekly template, confirm its demand, then, once the team has sent its availability, let Auto-assign fill the shifts.
  6. Publish and share: publish the month; people without the app get it as a PDF by e-mail, and everyone with the app can add their shifts to a calendar.

Skip sets a step aside and Resume brings it back. Once every step is done or skipped, Hide removes the card for good. Only the owner sees it.

The bar at the bottom (on a wide screen, the rail on the left) shows the sections your role uses most. Everything else is under More.

You areThe bar shows
Owner, Manager (with finances)Home · Rosters · Team · Money · More
ManagerHome · Rosters · Team · Requests · More
EmployeeHome · My shifts · Availability · Absences · More

More holds the rest: sections that did not fit in the bar, Switch workplace, Workplace settings, Monthly costs and revenue, Add a workplace, Notifications, Profile and, for the owner, Plan and subscription.

Tap the ? in the top bar of a screen to open the matching page of this help. Profile has a Help card that opens this page.

Your profile photo

Your photo shows on your Profile and to the people you work with. Without one, they see your initials. If you signed up with Google, your Google photo is used until you choose your own.

  1. Open Profile and tap the camera button on the round picture.
  2. Tap Choose from gallery, or Take a photo on a phone or tablet with a camera.
  3. In Crop your photo, drag the photo and pinch to zoom (on a computer: drag with the mouse and zoom with the wheel) until the circle shows what you want. Double-tap, or the middle button, starts again. Tap Save.

The photo shows at once and a ring around it fills while it uploads. The app makes a small square copy (512 × 512) on your device; the location, camera and date stored in the original are never sent. To go back to your initials, tap the camera button and Remove photo.

The top bar: workplace and month

Every screen has the same navy bar at the top. On the screens about a workplace it shows the workplace's name, and on the screens about a month it shows the month: ‹ October 2026 ›.

  • Tap ‹ or › for the month before or after. Tap the month's name to choose any month and year (months with a roster have a gold dot); This month goes back to the current one.
  • The month is the same everywhere: choose November on the dashboard and Rosters, Money, the daily records and the labour cost show November too, until you choose another. The app opens on the current month.
  • A month without a roster says so; if you build rosters, Create roster starts one for that month.
  • On a phone the month has a row of its own under the workplace; actions that do not fit go into the ⋮ menu. On a computer, Alt + ← / → (or Page Up / Page Down) changes the month.

Several workplaces

One account can run or work at several workplaces, even for different employers. The app always shows one workplace at a time: switch by tapping the workplace's name in the top bar (it shows ▾ when you have more than one) or with More → Switch workplace. The month stays the same when you switch. Add another one with More → Add a workplace or from the same list.

Joining a team

If your manager invited you:

  1. Create an account as above, or open the invitation link you received, which fills in the code.
  2. In the setup choose I was invited and enter the 8-character Invitation Code, then tap Check the code.
  3. Confirm with Join and the workplace name. Your shifts appear as soon as the roster is published.

What next

  1. Review the workplace settings: roles, availability slots and the weekly skeleton.
  2. Add your team and invite them to the app.
  3. Create the first roster, ask for availability, assign shifts and publish.
