Training and OHS

Courses and tests for the team, OHS instruction in the app and in person, the OHS training record and its documents.

More → Training holds the courses your workplace asks you to complete, such as a welcome course or the OHS general instruction, and your OHS training record. Managers write the courses, see who has completed them and record the parts of OHS training that happen in person.

Taking a course

  1. Open More → Training, or tap the Training card on the home screen.
  2. Tap Open on a course. Read each page and tap Next. A video page opens the video on the provider's website (for example YouTube), outside EVoShift: the provider may record your visit under its own privacy policy.
  3. After the last page tap Go to the test, answer every question and tap Send answers. Questions with square boxes may have more than one right answer: pick all of them.
  4. EVoShift grades the test on its server. If you do not pass, you see which questions to read again and can try again: up to 5 attempts a day.

A passed course stays passed, also when the manager later changes it.

Writing a course

Managers and owners: More → Training → New course.

  • Kind of course: an onboarding course has no legal rules. The two OHS kinds are described in OHS training.
  • Pages: text, a picture (JPEG or PNG up to 2 MB) or a video link (a full https address).
  • Test: questions with 2 to 6 answers; tick the right ones. The right answers are stored separately: employees' phones never receive them. Set the pass mark (50 to 100%).
  • Who takes it: positions, everyone who starts working here after publishing, and the number of days to complete it. In Progress you can also assign named people with a date.
  • Save draft keeps it unpublished. Publish checks everything and gives the course a new version; results keep the version they were for.

Progress shows everyone the course is for: passed (score and date), not passed yet, pages read, overdue. The Team list in Training shows each person's training status: complete, in progress or overdue.

OHS training

Polish law (the regulation on OHS training of 27 July 2004, as amended in 2025) decides which parts may be done in an app:

PartIn EVoShift
General instruction (instruktaż ogólny)As an OHS general instruction course with a test, where the electronic form is allowed (the labour ministry accepts it; labour inspectors at least for remote office work). Or held in person and recorded by a manager.
Workplace instruction (instruktaż stanowiskowy)Always at the workplace, ending with a test of knowledge and skills. The manager who admits the person to work records it; the employee confirms it.
Periodic trainingAs guided self-study for managers, office, engineering and technical staff: materials and a test in the app, consultations with the named person, then an exam before a commission that a manager records. Not for blue-collar positions: their periodic training is an instruction, recorded as done elsewhere.

The employee confirms each instruction in the app. A confirmation identifies the signed-in person and is stamped with the server's time; it is not a qualified electronic signature.

The OHS date in the employee's record is set only once every required part is done. It is valid until the first periodic training is due (6 months for managers, 12 months for others), and after a periodic training for 3 years (blue-collar), 5 years (managers, engineering and others) or 6 years (office). Set the person's position group in their OHS training record: without it the strictest rules apply.

The OHS training record and documents

Open your own from More → Training → OHS training record; managers open anyone's from the team list or from a course's progress.

  • Initial training card (PDF): the karta szkolenia wstępnego filled with the instructions and the electronic confirmations. Note the confirmations in the paper card and keep the printout in the personnel file.
  • Certificate of periodic training (PDF): the zaświadczenie after self-study and the exam, with the number from your workplace's register. Fill in the date of birth, place and signature by hand.
